Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for youth

• Assessing and responding to immediate needs, providing supports and making referrals as required

• Facilitating group programs and individual support for youth

• Believing in the potential of all youth

• Advocating for issues and/or resources related to youth

• Maintaining, researching and updating relevant, evidence informed program materials

• Working collaboratively with agency volunteers, monitoring and mentoring their skill development

• Contributing to team meetings and the ongoing evolution of the organization

• Empowering and supporting the organization’s youth engagement philosophy

Qualifications requises :

• Post- Secondary degree/diploma in a Child/youth related field

• Passion, commitment and dedication to youth

• Creative and resourceful

• Knowledge and experience with Youth Engagement and Transitional Aged Youth

• Independent and team work skills and abilities

• Life Skills training and experience

• Excellent time management, written and verbal skills, superior documentation and data entry skills

• Previous volunteer experience an asset

• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• Must provide own transportation and have valid Class G License
