Psychosocial wellness, offered in partnership with the ACT-Y program at St Clair Child and Youth, provides youth-centered, holistic care that supports children/youth in developing, regaining, or improving age-appropriate skills for home, school, and community functioning. It emphasizes regulation and coping, social and relationship skills, self-esteem, leisure and wellness, substance use education, and practical life skills such as cooking, budgeting, and time management.
This specailized program fosters peer support, caregiver involvement, and skill-building to promote resilience, independence, and community integration, while ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, and continuity of care. Interventions are tailored to developmental needs, supporting positive relationships, recreational engagement, and life skills necessary for successful participation in family, school, and community life.
