Key Responsibilities:

• Document Translation: Accurately translate a wide range of documents (marketing materials, product descriptions, reports, presentations, etc.) from English to French.

• Marketing Materials: Translate marketing copy such as advertisements, social media posts, email newsletters, website content, and other promotional content, ensuring the tone and message are appropriate for French-speaking audiences.

• Proofreading & Editing: Review translated content to ensure it is free of errors and accurately reflects the original English text. Ensure grammar, punctuation, and style are consistent with the target language.

• Cultural Adaptation: Adapt content where necessary to fit the cultural context, taking into consideration regional differences in the French language (e.g., European French vs. Canadian French).

• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure content aligns with the overall brand voice and objectives.

• Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards in translation, ensuring consistency across all documents and materials.

• Timely Delivery: Ensure that all translations are completed within deadlines, handling multiple projects simultaneously when necessary.

• Supporting community connection with agency social media platforms

• Contributing to team meetings and the ongoing evolution of the organization

• Empowering and supporting the organization’s youth engagement commitment

Qualifications requises :

• Fully bilingual in French and English

• Passion, commitment and dedication to youth

• Creative and resourceful

• Independent and teamwork skills and abilities

• Excellent time management, written and verbal skills, superior documentation and data entry skills

• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• Must provide own transportation

• Under the funding grant, the Employee must be between the ages of 15-30 years
